Terrible plastic taste and not very pure tasting. I only reccomend it if there is nothing else around.

Aquafina is one of my favorite waters. I choose it over many other waters. Thanks for keeping my hydrated!
twansalem 08/12/2009
I have a friend who swears that Aquafina and Coors Light taste the same. I'm not sure I'd agree with him, but I do find that if you really feel the need to buy bottled water, the cheaper store brands work just fine.
PCPeter774 08/12/2009
Not the worst, not the best. I still prefer poland springs.
lma3113 07/01/2009
Aquafina is tap water, but its filtered! I could literally take water from my sink and pour it in a bottle and it taste the same! You would be better off buying a Brita or Pur filter than buying Aquafina!
Ryan C 06/02/2009
Aquafina has a crisp taste that makes it one of the best waters out there. The bottle chills fast, which is good if you want cold water quickly. Aquafina is one of the least expensive bottled waters out there.
Paul Morrison 05/20/2009
Bottled water that is treated tap water ?? How Ghetto..
varner 05/11/2009
I like aquafina it tastle good. it taste like clear water.
NewtinCA 02/15/2009
It seems like every 4 or 5 months I have to change to another brand name because they start giving me bad side effects. Right now, its Aquafina. I've been drinking it a while and like it, but a few days ago I started having weird breathing problems about 30 min. to an hour after drinking it. I looked up some Aquafina sites and found out they put this additive called sodium hexametaphosphate (which can cause breathing problems!) in some of their flavored waters, and possibly the regular water. The other waters I've tried (Dasani, Evian, Arrowhead, etc., even our local water store) all give me slight headaches and joint weakness as soon as I take one sip! Should I just buy a water filter for my sink? How can I get around the bad side effects I experience from these added chemicals?
metalman22 01/18/2009
This is the best water I have ever had, the taste is clean and it doesn't taste like plastic like most other brands I've tried.I would compare Aquafina most with Dasani... Dasani, although good.. just doesn't have as good of a taste as Aquafina.
Chalky 11/25/2008
Although, I don't care for Aquafina, I hear this is Aquaman's prefered beverage of choice. 3 Stars!!!
RaterLu 08/10/2008
This is just good stuff. Always refreshing. My goto brand for bottled water. Go Pepsi!

I have a guy from work get me 4 36pk 16.9oz bottles of Aquafina from Sams. It's only $20 and he goes once a month. He does the same for himself. I have tried Ozarka etc...you name it I have bought it. ( I work at Kroger Food in Dallas) Most water to me at room temp is GROSS!!!! If it's VERY chilled it's great. I work two jobs and carry water ALWAYS and this is the only water that holds it's non taste. It is just water, hot or cold. Now if I found stuff in it I'd change but, so far for the passed 5 years Aquafina has been my bottled water, with no prob. Each person has their own point but, I don't care if it's tap water it's not my tap water which is 4real gross.
TeresaG 03/31/2008
My favorite. I can drink this cold or warm ~ doesn't matter. Clean tasting.
flybob 03/15/2008
Bad plastic taste
Spike65 01/21/2008
Another good "value priced" bottled water. You can buy it almost anywhere. The best tasting bottled water I've had to date was called "True" and it comes from Alaska. Unfortunately I have only seen it in one small grocery store chain in Oregon.
Susieequ 11/01/2007
Hi, I bought a bottle of Aquafina water today at Target and started to drink it, all of a sudden something came out of it and it looks like a purple balloon or a tip of a rubber glove! I immediately spit it back into the bogttle and went to customer service, but my main concern is I'm 9 months pregnant I worry about how long the rubber piece was in the water and could it contaminate it? The store manager dumped out the water to remove the piece and I wish I hadn't so that the water could have been tested. i'm calling Aquafina in the a.m. How gross! What are you thoughts.
solitarymessen ger 08/04/2007
Look, I work nation wide... I drink Aquafina because it tastes good... I do not care where this water comes from.... If I could find water tasting this clean and this good *anywhere* else.... (and I continue to search)... I would buy it too.
LadyJesusFan77 7 08/01/2007
I heard on the news that some of these bottled waters come straight from the tap, anyway.
HelloKitty09 08/01/2007
I tasted better tapwater from my sink.
hawaiibrandon 07/11/2007
OK...for you guys rating this water a 5....this is only tap water...yes...tap water...just like u get from your kitchen sink. Google it for the facts. Bottled by Pepsico from a municipality. Same for Dasani bottled by Coke.
Arandomrater 07/08/2007
I don't know if Im just unlucky, but the majority of all bottles I have tried have tasted like pool water. Its also way to expensive, between $1 and $3 depending on where you go.
ronincse 06/06/2007
I honestly don't see how anyone can rate bottled waters, I mean water is basically water. Most of these waters are just tap waters that are filtered anyways, you would be much better off just buying bulk water from those purifiers at the grocery store, or buying a brita (or similar filter) and doing it at home.
NuThoughtUwere Right 02/20/2007
It's funny... I didn't think I'd ever get around to rate bottled water, but goes to show you...
Aquafina is plain out nasty. Someone can argue and claim that "it taste great!", but water isn't supossed to taste like anything. That's what makes it great. To me, it's kinda like Einsteins theory on how there is no such thing as cold, only the absence of heat- Well, water, to me, is the absence of flavor! I usually drink 2-3 bottles of water a day, but the last time I went out for groceries and bought Aquafina, I found myself barely finishing one. The only reason i'm giving it two is because I appreciate it's blue'ish kinda presence, but nah_
blackhawk11b 02/20/2007
My girlfriend loves this stuff, and BUYS OUT! Wal-Mart, Big Top, Meijer, and another store ALL IN ONE DAY!
primaxdonna 02/20/2007
what can i say? it's good water.
JoeNJ 02/04/2007
After a couple of days in the bottle the Aquafina started to develop a bad taste.
jbt 08/12/2006
It tasted good if it is really cold. Once it starts to get warm it has a bad after taste.
sfalconer 03/25/2006
I have to admit Aquafina is one of, the better bottled waters, it actually seems more refreshing than most others. The only problem with it is that it can be quite pricey!
Ms325i 03/25/2006
Nasty tap water--what a scam!
justin_beth 03/22/2006
The wild berry blend of this drink reminds me of what drinking somebody's warm piss just after they ate around a million bing cherries would taste like.
lightkia000 02/24/2006
this water is great i drink all the time!!!!!!!!!
bru674 01/23/2006
Water is the pure is thing you can put in your body these days especially Aquafina I want more water all the time keep up the good work providing Aquafina
carlsbadsue 01/07/2006
I LOVE the Aquafina Sparkling, but it is too hard to find. I buy all they have when I find it. It has just the right amount of carbonation and I just wish that I could drink more of it, but can't find it
jyoun 12/14/2005
I've tried getting used to this water but it always tastes like plastic, very badly! I've bought from many different sources as well as different states and the results are always the same. Horrible, horrible taste. Most other bottled water does not taste this bad. I have noticed other purified water using "Reverse Osmosis" to taste similarly bad. Maybe some people are very sensitive to this and other not. That's the only reason I can think of as to why this water is even ACCEPTABLE to public use. I would like to add that I do like the oversized mouth piece as it makes refilling with "better" water easier. That's the only reason I buy it. Of course I could just buy an empty water jug. I'm a little wacko. I also grew up on well water and everyone I know has different opinion on what they feel water "should" taste like. I can't stand drinking the well water at home, but a Brita or Pur filter system seems to make it perfect... for me of course! Oh and another thing! This tastes exactly like "distilled" water that I find at the supermarket. It's as if the water absorbs the flavour of whatever it touches, in this case... plastic! The same company that sells these jugs of water also sells regular "Spring Water" that is supposedly not distilled and it does not taste like plastic it tastes perfect to me. Am I crazy? I know why you would use distilled water over regular in cooking, but is normal for drinking? Not in my experience. Whether or not Aquafina is "distilled" or not I don't know, but this is the closest description I can think of as to why I dislike the taste so much.
magellan 12/14/2005
It tastes like water to me - the reason that I like Aquafina is because I like the oversized mouth (is that the right word?) of the bottle. I'm not exactly sure why I like this aspect - it may be because the bottle feels sturdier, or it may just be because it reminds of dark but happy days drinking Mickey's Big Mouth malt liquor. (and yes, when it comes to stuff like water, packaging is a big deal.)
Urkevitz 12/11/2005
Municipal water, why pay for it?

I would give aquafina an A+ but bottled water caps are to hard to open. Please try it. Have a person with small to medium hands try opening aquafina and dasani you will find the dasani is easy to open and aquafina is impossible. My hand is still burning this is very annoying they need to change the cap size
AvalonMan96 08/29/2005
The best tasting bottled water on the market. The new line of Flavor Splash is very good, too. Yes, it's a tad pricey, but it's worth it, IMHO.
Rushboy 08/27/2005
When I'm in need of water I buy this stuff .
texasyankee 08/19/2005
I don't trust this brand. It tastes like plastic, with a weird bitter aftertaste. Not sure what it is but after visiting deer park and the success their bottled water has had, and seeing how nasty the pond is from which they get their water from, makes me doubt any bottled water.
zombie_schnitz el 04/02/2005
Aquafina has a bitter flavor but you get used to it just like any other water. I gave it two stars because it is wet.
mattg 03/29/2005
Meh, I find no compelling reason to prefer this over the no-name filtered water I buy in gallon jugs, at the grocery store. I don't find it objectionable, in any way, but it just seems fairly overpriced for a relatively non-descript bottled water.
Alexg681 01/07/2005
Water is good for you, so drink it!

UPDATE: Thank you so much for revising your earlier statement helmut (formerly known as rupierce) I hope that this information will be taken into serious consideration by the people who produce plastic and bottled water. I won't be surprised if it isn't but hope springs eternal. I've been drinking bottled water for a long time now and don't want to go back to tap - filtered on not. Oddly, the only thing I've never liked about bottled water is the plastic. I can't imagine what the alternative would be. Hopefully they will find a way to improve the plastic bottles. ORIGINAL POST: Rupierce - you're either a dumb little kid or a total idiot. Aquafina is WATER and WATER does not cause cancer. And I hate to spoil your big scoop TriSec but it IS more than tap water. It is filtered but by a very effective method that most people would find cost prohibitive to have in their home. The technique is called reverse osmosis and it is one of the best ways to arrive at very pure, good tasting, and YES - healthy water. Aquafina is produced by the Pepsi Cola Company. Dasani is Coke's version of the exact same thing. Both are reasonably priced, great tasting and probably safer and more pure than most Spring Water.

UPDATE TO CASTLEBEE(who is addressing me as rupierce, which was my old username): I understand that water, in and of itself, does not cancer. However, phthalates do cause cancer and they are often used to soften plastic. These chemicals were found by the 2nd place winner of this years national science fair in bottles of Aquafina. The findings suggested that either the substances were seeping into the public water supply through which the water was bottled and were somehow not removed by filtration, or was being released directly into the water from the plastic bottles.
