Great venue but has to share with an NBA team. Nice place with good capacity but fails because of its horrible fan base for the stars. Its a much better place when the Mavs play. All around good place but losses points for its fans.

Really nice on the outside with a large area leading up to the arena. There are large video screens outside showing pre-game shows and highlights, with enough room for a band and a few games for the kids. Plenty of parking in the area. VIP parking right next door for $20, but there is also covered parking right around the corner for $10 that doesn't leave a very long walk. Uncovered parking is down the street, also $10 and leaves a fair walk.Once inside the arena itself is visually unspectacular. It's pretty much just a standard arena, seating about 20,000. However, there truly isn't a bad seat in the house. I've been three times and sat in the "cheap" seats, but the view of the game is great. Sitting that high lets you see a play as it's developing, and the way the seating is set up you don't feel like you are in the next zip code watching ants in a Dixie Cup.Concessions are pretty standard for sporting events in the area. Hot dogs, soda, nachos, popcorn, BBQ, pizza, etc. There are plenty of souvenirs available, and they usually have specials running toward the end of the season. A cap normally priced at $20-$25 can be marked down to $10 by February. If you get to the game early the Dr. Pepper Bottling Plant or the Miller Sky Bar is a good place to hang out for awhile.Overall it's a nice place and the crowds are always geared up. Good place to watch a little hockey.
