Her 15 minutes of fame should have been over with long, long ago, especially considering the utter lack of talent or class. She was never anything more than a cynical media/corporate concoction. Her handlers should get her into re-hab and therapy, and then she should retire to that backwoods farm in Louisiana where she belongs, slopping the pigs and cleaning up after the horses. Maybe brewing up a cache of moonshine behind the wood pile when she feels daring. Ten years and 7 children from now, she can get sloppy drunk late at night and dance around out in the yard before an audience of her captive pigs and chickens, reliving those MTV glory days at least in her own troubled mind. When the mailman comes, she can stagger out toward him in her bathrobe, belching and slurring out the words, "I use'ta be a big star, ya know. Paris was never a star. I...(BUURRRPP!!!)...was a...a...Goddess..." before passing out. Occasionally, she might end up on the local police blotter for exposing herself to UPS guys. It's nice to think about that time years from now when her name will be mentioned only occasionally on some "E True Hollywood Story: The Drug Excesses Of Yesteryear's Stars" and your grandchild will turn to his or her friend and say, "Britney Spears? Who was that?" in the same way that today's audiences say, "Barbara La Marr? Who was that?"

Her MTV VMA performance was pretty craptastic. I can Lip-sync 10000 times better than that girl any day.

I'll admit that SOME of her songs weren't that bad, but in general, the girl couldn't pick a good song to sing if it could save her life (or her career for that matter). The height of her career was in her teens, and only because they oversexualized her for all the pervs to enjoy. I'm just glad to see her walk away from the spotlight, 'cause now that she's a parent (hopefully a better one than we all imagine her to be), she really should keep her family seperate from the dramas of stardom.

She was cute at first but now she has revealed just how stupid and naive she really is by kissing Madonna on stage, getting married, having a kid and acting like a fool by letting her kid ride in her lap while she is driving.

The problem with Britney now, is that you can't walk past a newsstand without seeing her on one of the covers. She's a horrible singer, and her songs are just bad.

For once, why can't these ratings go to ten stars. What a trailer trash, no talent, idiot this is. This brainless moron was perfect for the retarded musings of the Mickey Mouse Club, but when she was unleashed upon the rest of us unsuspecting victims her true colors (and lack of talent)began to shine. Hey Britney, tuck in that fat, KFC eating gut of yours back in your pants, and hobble that equally annoying husband of yours back to the trailer park for good. What's worse, people? Your daughter loves her and wants to be like her. So much for all that tuition money you have wasted on that upscale, snobby catholic school she attends.

I never thought she had a very good voice. It's fake and nasaly. And that's just her voice. The way she acts and the way she dresses are a whole 'nother story.

Many things really make Britney come to mind when I think of annoying pop stars. First, her false teenage modesty act was very easy to see through (no pun intended). A straight-up, proud-of-it sexually-liberated female is much more refreshing and honest. Her gum-smacking, vacuous gaze insults intelligence. The words that come out of her mouth are uninspiring, unoriginal, unthoughtful. Lastly, her publicity stunt Las Vegas marriage to her childhood sweetheart was repulsive, especially when we have gay people who would give their right arms for the right to be legally and respectably married in this country. They wouldn't treat marriage as a commodity to be tossed aside. The only thing I can say nice about her is that she can dance better than I ever could.

Her video and song with Madonna wasn't as great as people made it out to be, sh's ok in the music department, in a few years people will pretty much forget about her. Just do us a favor and don't try to make another movie again.

She is another of the extreme self indulgent set. Wake up Britney because you are starting to show signs of alcohol bloat. A complete waste of potential.

I have to agree with raider and jamestkirk, basicly whatever the flavore of the week is , she tries to transform into it, first sweet, now sexy, and in her video Everytime somebody is really f**ed up for saying she is a kids best role model, teaching them to drown themselves, how resonsible!

No talent what-so-ever, I hate her. Oh and that 'wedding', what is the point?, all she wants is publicity, Stupid bi*ch

Her looks are what got her to the top. Her voice just can't get it done. She needs to seriously drop the soft-porn show onstage but then why would anyone go to her shows? I read about her latest show on the road and it comes down to her half-naked along with some half-naked male dancers. Who goes to this show?: little girls and their daddies who want to drool over her.

She's getting worse. Especially with her latest song. You know which one I mean. The one with the video where she's adjusting her breasts like she's a ham radio.

The one sure thing about Britney is that she is good looking. Beyond that is a huge disappointment. She disappoints me with her outrageous and constant attempts to redefine her image. In general, people don't like nor respect others who try to make themselves into something they are not. It's not natural (ask Michael Jackson). Britney needs to be herself. Her singing voice doesn't even sound natural to me. I'm still waiting to hear her natural voice. She seems to try to mimic the natural voices of many black female singers. It sounds good coming from these female vocalists, but it sounds pretentious coming from Britney (ditto for Justin Timberlake as well). Britney's beauty is natural, everything else about her is not. That's why she is irritating to a certain degree. In three years or less, Britney will be a distant memory on the pop scene. She better cash in on her popularity while she can.

Soooo damn irritating its not even funny. She has absolutely no vocal talent, and that bothers the hell out of me. There are so many people who have actual talent that will never be heard and yet here is this dumbass who couldn't sing if her life depended on it and she's a millionare. Where's the justice?
