Dreamcatcher (Stephen King) 4

There's a scene towards the end of this book that reminded me an equally dumb scene in "The Stand". That and the fect that King tends to go on and on and on about uninteresting things at times held me back from giving this book a perfect score. However, it is a very cool book overall. lots of gore and imagination. 4 and a half stars

Dreamcatcher (Stephen King) 5

A lot of u will think this bk was long and dragged on, with too much detail and all that - but the plot, style and ability to capture the reader on a deeper yet disturbed level iz enough to counteract it. It's quite a colorful story with many different depths and twists and turns. It's not something to easily forget not just because of the story line itself, but the characters were really well developed.

Dreamcatcher (Stephen King) 2

A good beginning, a difficult plot half-way through, and unnecessary details and ramblings - gave up two thirds through, istead will watch the film. Seems that King's books are getting longer and longer, this means more waffle...keep to the point please!

Dreamcatcher (Stephen King) 4

I have read almost everything Stephen King/Richard Bachman has published, and I enjoyed Dreamcatcher; devoured it in fact, (so glad he's recovering from his accident, we were worried about him). The only reason I rate DREAMCATCHER a 4, is because IT, DOLORES CLAIBORNE, THE STAND, and NEEDFUL THINGS had more of an impact on me. I'm a Texas girl and the entry in Franny's (THE STAND) journal about Nolan Ryan ("there once was a pitcher") is something I will never forget. I love Stephen King's work because he can make me see, hear, feel, taste, and generally share in the experience of his characters, male or female, young or old. IT is the only book I've ever read that scared me so much I had to put it down and turn on every light in the house. Didn't pick it up for a couple of days. I think Mr. King would be proud of that, as well he should be. I loved every minute of it. I remain, as ever, a faithful reader.
