One of the pukiest ad campaigns ever. It gave you ample reason to never use this product. And those two people were totally nauseating, especially that self-impressed bitch. I just wanted to flush both of their heads down the toilet.

For those out there who disagree and think it's pathetic that we remember fondly a commercial that hasn't aired in nearly 10 years, I say take a coffee break. It was something new and sexy and innovative and rare. Did it make me want to buy the coffee? No. Even though this was my favorite all time commercial, I'm still no automaton. I wish that marketing people would realize that most people are just NEGATIVELY affected by commercials. I am more likely NOT to buy a product based on advertising.

Stupid and pointless. One of the stupidest things I ever read in TV Guide (and there are a lot) was a letter from a reader who wanted to know, and I quote Whatever happened to that cute couple in the Tasters Choice commercials? Do they, you know, hook up? Pathetic...

I would like to know what ever happen to the couple and they the taster's choice should bring it back

This probably is my all-time favorite commercial. Actually, it was a series of commercials (almost like a mini-soap opera - I think they ran about 6-8 years ago). For the younger folks out there, it was about a couple of single neighbors who found that they had Taster's Choice in common. It started getting romantic, with some really neat situations; I think it was the last commercial (or maybe the last two) where the woman's ex-husband shows up (and her son, too). I kept on waiting to see how the situation got resolved, but then the series stopped. I think there were about eight different commercials in the series (could have been one or two more or less - can't really remember them all). It sure was a novel way to get your interest. I'm surprised there hasn't been more of that approach to advertising.
