Might have been interesting to see who the Democrats would have picked had Kerry bowed out of the race. Probably Edwards, who I think probably would have been a far more effective campaigner than Kerry or maybe even Bush. However I don't know if Edwards has the executive experience for the top job.

a kucinich/sharpton ticket would be most memorable, the only electoral votes they would get would be from washington d.c. and mars.

Kerry would never be forced to withdraw for any reason. If Clinton was allowed to stay in office after all of his shenanigans, what justification could there be for making Kerry step down? Besides, I sincerely believe the Clintons want Bush to defeat Kerry, so the way will be clear for Hillary to go for the prize in 2008. And what the Clintons want, we all get.

Like maybe John Kerry flips his wig? (he wears one, you know). The Dems should pray this happens. This guy's a loser.
