My 8-year-old niece likes her and that's fine; I'd rather her look up to a basically wholesome tomboy like Avril Lavigne than emulate Britney Spears. But Avril Lavigne is not very talented, and anyone who thinks she's a punk is kidding themselves.

worst musician ever. everything about her is fake, from her music, to her image to the way she pretends to skateboard. Her lyrics are stupid, to think she payed the Matrix to write them for her. She's stupid herself. Every interview i've ever seen with her shows her to be hostile, ignorant, unwilling to talk, or just plain stupid. her music is like prison rape, only a little less desirable. i hope she dies in a grease fire. soon.
