She's fantastic, I love her songs, and she has the voice of an angel.  (There honey are you satisfied?  Can I go back to rating cover versions of Dylan songs now?)

Dreadful. I saw her in concert once (free tickets) and I nearly fell asleep. Great lighting on the stage, I'll give her that...and she does have a unique voice. However, her lyrics play to angry high school and college girls (okay, so lots of male musicians do that, too...but not in this way) because she is a feminist. I think Sarah McLachlan and Alanis Morrissettey are the same person. The record label created two personas for one person.

Her lyrics are profound and her voice is huanting. She is one of my favorite singers.

Her music is depressing, and she doesn't really stand out to me.

A beautiful, almost sad and at times melodic voice. Great songwriter too. Along with Alison Kraus and Annie Lennox, she is one of my favorite female singers.

Nice girl, sweet voice, but a good deal of her music has a soporific effect on me.
