Very good to great songwriters and a good hardworking live act. Their shows lack a little showmanship but make up for it in fine musicianmanship. They have stood the test of time and will be revered as greats of their era.

Great ballads and depth in their songwriting. They should have broken in the US at the same time as 5440. I saw them on Austin City Limits and the american audience was going nuts. They were playing all of these songs that were 10-20 years old and it was all new to the Texas audience. Sort of show where they could have gone if they had better management/promotion when they were at their height.

I really adore a couple of cuts each off two of their albums, MONTREAL, TRY, TRUST YOURSElF are as good as any cut by any Maple rcok artist.
