I have been a fan of Nickleback since they opened for Bon Jovi a few years back. I think that for the most part their songs are awesome. I recently bought their new album, Dark Horse, and I have to admit that I only like 3 songs; many of the others are a little out there. A group of our friends went to their concert at the Izod Center Friday, March 6th, and I have to say that I was very disappointed in the foul language that was used, the references to drinking and doing drugs; I noticed that there were impressionable teenagers and small children in the audience, and as a parent myself I was appalled that they continually dropped the F bomb between every song. It is a shame that a group as talented as they are who has a great command of the English language by writing such beautiful songs could not find a better way to express themselves in front of a live audience. As talented as they are I was disappointed by their lack of character and will not purchasing any future Nickleback CD's. What a shame!!

Bands like Nickelback are a dime a dozen and never buck the trend. Safe money record company hard rock band.

It's funny to notice the difference when Chad "Freddy" Kroeger speaks in interviews and his voice sounds sort of mid-range and thin. When he sings, it sounds like he is singing through a Darth Vader mask: "I LIKE MY HANDS AROUND YOUR NECK, REBEL SCUM!"

Somebody please give back their nickel so they will finally shut up. One of the whiniest, most annoying bands to ever come out of Canada. A total snoozefest...

Seriously, could you get any more formulaic than Nickleback? What a joke. Boring, fake, a rock forgery...hell, I'd rather listen to the Backstreet Boys...at least they weren't trying to pose...they knew they were a cheesy, manufactured boy band/group. As long as Nickelsmack, Lincoln Bisquit and the like dominate the airwaves, the people will be deprived of real music. "I like my pants around my knees"...those are some deep lyrics...better give 'em an award. Please stop making music...seriously...stop it...I mean it.

Nickleback is great. I don't really like hard rock music for exception of a few singers and bands out there, they are deffinately one of my favorite groups. I like their sound, lyrics, and lead singer's voice really compliments the songs.

I love their stuff. They've got a really unique sound, and cool songs.

Wimpy, whiny, and craptacular Canuck infiltrators. They should be immediately deported next time they stagger across the border, or sent to Gitmo for a quick spell on the old Waterboard, I'm sure there are provisions in the Patriot Act that allow for this.

While there are many terrible bands that have come out of the Great White North this band is the epitomy of awful. Nickelbak is just plain hideous. Their music is contrived, cliched, and banal! They are a scourge on our society! I agree with the pennyroyalty1 about the song mentioned. No self respecting woman would accept that as any kind of affectionate tribute. Whoever would is a pig! And now Nickelback wants to get all deep with a song about a high school photograph. Im in tears! No, hardly! It is a pathetic attempt at sounding sentimental! Oh, this band sucks! They suck bad! I hate them!

Nickleback is (in my opionion) the greatest and most talanted group ever!! I love their song photograph!! They are the hottest band goin on right now!! I LOVE NICKLEBACK!!!!!

nickleback is the best band going right now he writes the most awsome lyrics about things we all deal with in life and that makes a great band.oh yeah he plays the guitar while he sings i guess everyone can do that yeajh right!!he is one of the most talanted people there is i am 34 i grew up on all kinds of music when i first heard nickleback they will always be my favorite they are the best band around and they sound the same live as on the cd i guess that is because they care about there fans figure it out people.

Chad Kroger sucks my balls. He has no talent and needs to learn what real music is and stop feeding such horrible atrosities to our youth to drone over and accept just because some dumbass DJ plays it on a rock station. Just because its on the radion doesn't mean it doesn't suck my ass completely. Please never compliment this no talent hack, because he doesn't know sharps and flats from the smell of is own ass. Anybody giving him more than one star should be shunned forever from making any commentary on music ever again. I hate Chad Kroger. I think he's the Canadian Equivalent to Scott Stapp: Totally in love with nothing but himself. Thier Music sounds like everyone else, my friends an i affectionatley refer to this and other such bands as Theory Of A Nickle Creed Default. Nickleback's newest song is disgusting.
