I'm a middle schooler, and a friend of mine told me about this website. When he next came over to my house, we looked it up for some quick LOLs. I laughed for days afterwards. This website tells parents about horrible insults as "Potter Stinks" (Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire) and being "not penguin enough" (Happy Feet. Beware of Disney-Pixar's WALL-E, as it contains such disturbing images as a man and woman holding hands and a cockroach diving into a snack cake. But my favorite by far is the extreme violence and gore of "cow flatulence" (Charlotte's Web). I guarantee this is one of those Christian watchdog sites ( And I'm a Christian, so don't be calling me racist) If you're in middle school or even high school and you want some quick laughs, head to Kids in Mind.

Very good resources for parents who are concerned what their kids watch.

Straight forward rating service that accurately states what is contained in a movie. It doesn't preach at you, it just does an excellent job of listing the content that I am most concerned about. My wife and I don't have kids and we use the ratings for ourselves. We also use Clearplay when we'd like to see a movie that has elements we'd rather not see, and Clearplay removes those elements. We've been able to see many movies that otherwise we wouldn't have watched!

I can't say enough about how helpful this website has been. It gives graphic descriptions of movies that you might want to take your kids to see, but are not sure of its content. This site lets you know every tiny detail of sex, violence, drugs and anything else that might be questionable to let your kids see. Kidsinmind.com deserves 10 stars for this invaluable parenting tool.
