Ellajedlicka21, Nobel named the Nobel Prize after himself, It's an endowment. He didn't develop nitroglycerin (Sobrero) but dynamite: which is a safe delivery system for nitroglycerine a composition of Nitroglycerine and clay (diamtomaceous earth).

We named a prestigious prize after him. How could you not give him a 5-star rating?

The thing I'm most proud of when it comes to Nobel is his donation of parts of his inheritance to start the Nobel Peace Prize! :-)

No one could have developed nitroglycerine the way he did.
