Great, and I love how she grew up to be a successful adult actress.

Her earlier roles got her exposure but weren't so great. She grew into an incredible actress though. Even in some films that were so so, Jody Foster can act with the best of them.

Jodie was a great child actor. and to this day. She was a natural. I never caught her overacting or mugging for the camera. She never played it cutsie as some kid actors do. she was great in Taxi driver as the 12 year old prostitute. one of the better child actors.

She's a great actress but unfortuntely she's taken one too many crappy roles the past few years. She was excellent in The Accused and Silence Of The Lambs. I always loved watching her in Disney movies when I was a kid. Freaky Friday and Candleshoe were my favorites.

Dull, boring and overated as an adult but fun it was to watch her as a kid. I just love movies like Bugsy Malone.

I remember her on an episode of 'Family Affair'. She was so believable. Never a ham, always seemed to be actually 'acting'. She went through an awkward phase as an adolescent but still her talent got her through.

As a child, Jodie was known for her frequent roles as no-nonsense, tomboyish girls. One role I don't think fit her was the Becky Thatcher role in the 1973 musical version of Tom Sawyer (with Johnnie Whittaker in the lead role), although she did fine at playing the part. One of her best adult parts was displayed in Nell.
