A brilliant mind and a testament to human resolve. I may not agree with some of his assertions about more spiritual areas of thought but I admire the man and his intellect more than most.

Hawking is a physicist who appeals to sumb asses such as myself. He makes all these complex theories accessable and understandable to people who don't have a PhD in Astrophysics. Plus, youo know you've made it when you appear, kicking ass, on The Simpsons. i have great respect for this man who never let his disease stop him from trying to understand the world and teaching other people about it.

www.mchawking.com gives a completely new look on S.Hawking as a gangsta rapper. How can you not give the most intelligent man on earth a 5-star rating?

Crazy old man with robotic voice that is incredibly momotonous. I say we send himinto space alone to try his own theories.

I tried to read “A Brief History of Time” and basically hit the wall after 100 pages or so. It’s embarrassing to be baffled by someone’s dumbed-down attempt to explain the latest developments in science to the average reader. I enjoyed the parts I could understand, and it’s clear that Hawking has both a world-class mind and a great ability to explain things in simple language, but I just couldn’t stick with him past some of the very basic stuff. What a tragedy that this man’s mind is trapped inside a rapidly failing body.
