I'm versatile. No vanilla? No problem. I can live just as well with strawberry, or rum raisin, or even one of those ridiculous conglomerations of flavors that Ben and Jerry come up with all the time...

I know the sun will rise tomorrow if you don't get your ice cream, but it's still kind of a bummer when the shake machine at McD's always conveniently seems to be broken towards the end of the night, isn't it?

I don't have a favorite flavor of ice cream but a worse event is craving a certain food and go to whoever it is that makes it and find out it's been discontinued.

always happens to me. im just used to it now so i have a few favorites to choose. actually i like all ice cream so it really doesnt matter

Oh, no. They ran out of mint chocolate chip. Sob. Whatever shall I do? Right now, I have pneumonia (going on one week now), my joints ache like hell because of the medicine, and I can't lay down without hacking out one or both of my lungs. If I heard anyone whine about something so trivial as not having their favorite flavor of ice cream, I'd beat them as soon as I could breathe right again.

Not such a bad situation. I would just pick my second favorite flavor. I could think of a lot worse things that could happen.
