Never going to happen. First of all she is not INFORMING me of anything. would not work out. Sorry if that sounds selfish. but families need privacy and it would be too much of an intrusion. thank goodness this was a subject we agreed on my husband would not let it happen either. too many problems. P.S. that would have gone for my mother too. two women in a house too much.

I would have to go get a couple of jobs to make sure I was never home. I love the woman but I just cannot live with her! We're both too bossy, not a good thing in 1 household.

i would inform her that she would be more than welcome for as long as she wanted. my mother in law was a wonderful giving woman that suffered more than one human should have and raised 13 children cuz that was what she was taught was her role in life.

This happened before my husband and I got married (husband's dad kicked her out, she just showed up at his apartment door one day; no one knew she had a brain tumor), but it was difficult all the same. Lots of tension. It wouldn't have been so bad had we known what was going on; everyone thought it was a depression, even the doctors, until she collapsed one day. But she's just never been the same since, her illness changed her completely. I wish there were something we could do.

This won't happen without my wife and I agreeing to it. My mother in law only thinks she can make unilateral decisions. And this one, ain't happening folks. (By the way, my wife is more adamantly negative about this possibility than I am)
