Wise beyond his years. I still don't see how China is a communist country since they follow his teachings.

His philosphy provided the basic organizing and legitimizing principles for Chinese government up until the Communist revolution; some would say until today. Stressed the need for harmony, benevolent rule and obedience to superiors above all; like Aristotle, his work was cannonized by later generations and treated as holy writ, greatly retarding the progress of knowledge in China. His influence stretches beyond China to Japan, Korea, Vietnam and Singapore, all identified as 'Confucian societies' to this day.

Moral conduct, doing ones best, respect others(espcially elders, the govenment & your family), being honest and don't do to others what you don't want them to do to you. Elitist public service & Protectionist government. See my explanation under Features : Religion.

Amazing. He is looked on religiously for his philosophies. He felt compelled to profess more about the social aspect of life and conducting yourself in the correct manner rather than telling people who to worship, etc. His philsophies are very useful even today universally.
