09/25/2004 | I have an idea! Why don't we all right our congressmen and have them change all of the state flags to something that looks like the biggest piece of junk ever made? Oh wait. It looks like Alaska has already beaten us to it.

09/24/2004 | While the colors on this flag are not striking, the concept is clever and memorable. The seven smaller stars represent Ursa Major (Big Dipper) and the biggest star represents the North Star. This is one of the first state flags I learned as a child, and it was so easy to remember because of my interest in astronomy.
