Can't they put a cooler Washington on this flag???!??! Maybe Denzel Washington.  Seriously, a flag w/a portrait on it seems kind of stale.

Here's the old seal on a bath towel flag again--bad. This time the bath towel is green not the usual blue. I suppose green is for the trees. The designer of this flag had the imagination of a slug.

He must have thought we were complete morons, so he put George Washington's picture on the flag. Gee, which Washington did he think that we would think that the state was named after--Ziggie Washington?  Denzel Washington?

come on - washington's flag is the greatest! it's like they asked some guy what to put on this green sheet they had lying around, you know, to represent the state of...washington...and - well, you see what came to mind. and they just shrugged and said 'okay' and ran with it!

i laugh every time i see this flag. it's just so funny!

Odd concept to name a state for a man and to then put his picture on the flag. One wonders if a 45th century anthropologist will hold the flag and assume him a deity?
