This flag has the state's name twice! That is worth a 2; however, the color is unique so that raises it to a 3. Rip out the Seal and the wording and leave the sun and you have a 5 star flag!

This flag violates the cardinal rule of not printing the state name. I can overlook it because the shade of blue is vibrant and unique and the sunburst design around the state seal is a unique touch. At least the lettering is small.
