 | fitman (36) 02/29/2008 | I think it looks great, but it does remind me of the pennants one sees on sailboats.

 | excelsior30 (8) 02/29/2008 | The most distinctive flag in the USA. I do see it is patriotic and unique. Other than the kingdom of Nepal, what other flag do you see that is not squared or rectangular?

 | CanadaSucks (45) 10/16/2007 | It looks like it should be on a radio antennae of a '76 Nova. . .

 | twansalem (36) 10/16/2007 | It's a pretty good design, but I'm just not a fan of the penant shape. It looks like it would work with a baseball team's city in the top white stripe, and the team name in the bottom white stripe, which doesn't seem quite right for a state flag.

 | TBDBITL Fan (0) 12/10/2005 | I truely believe this to be the greatest of all state flags. It symbolizes so much of Ohio plus it looks great flying next to out national flag. God bless the great state of Ohio!

 | ratmandu (1) 06/02/2005 | This extremely beautiful and patriotic flag is filled with both national and state symbolism. It is without a doubt the most colorfully spirited and individually unique of all of the state flags.
The union of the flag,is a large blue triangle that is populated with seventeen white stars. Those stars that are grouped around the circle represent the thirteen original colonies. The four stars found at the apex (far side point of the large O) of the triangle combine with the stars of the thirteen original colonies to total seventeen. Ohio was the seventeenth state to enter the union.
Three red and two white horizontal stripes and the blue field copy the red, white and blue of the Stars and Stripes. The blue field represents Ohio's hills and valleys. The stripes represent the roads and waterways of the state.
The white circle with a its red center forms the O in Ohio and can also be related to the state's nickname, the Buckeye State.
It's truly one of a kind swallowtail design easily distinguishes it and has set it apart from all of the rest.
It has always been acknowledged as extremly bold and vibrantly beautiful and is widely heralded and acclaimed as the most remarkably identifiable and recognizable state flag of them all.

 | Mr.Political (18) 09/25/2004 | Wonderful if you like to look at flags that resemble a flag with a hangover.
