This flag would be a five if the name were taken off. Indiana is unnecessary and the name should never be on a flag.

Looks really catching. If there is such thing as a 3-d flag, I can guess that the stars and rays are being emitted from the torch. This flag shows the history- 19 stars for the 19th state, the five stars inside the 13 star circle says that it is the fifth state of the west outside the boundry of the original 13 states, the rays for the sixth state after the original 13, the lone star above the torch repesents the state, and the torch represents freedom. Great flag for a great state.

Looks like the head of a dandolion that has gone to seed. One quick gust of wind will blow it into Ohio. Still, the design is kind of pleasing to the eye.

The usual state seal on a blue background but the rays emanating from the central symbol give it bit more punch, at least.
