Studied to be a Catholic priest but became a soldier (against conscription) then an Optician. Very Scientific, a spacial mechanical genius, for moderation (against extrems). Softline Moderately Conservative Center-right politicaly. Says because of experiance he has the right to believed in a fully trancendent and imminant God. Tries to use Science logic & mathermatics to prove his existance. This guy suprised me as being years ahead of his time and his book "Discorses on Methods" is worth reading. Chaos theory, mentions the forth dimention as time (one of many ideas falsely atributed to Eienstin), claimed that while Meditating God showed him Evolution in a vision. He dose controdict at times and has wrong views agaist animals. To me he Rates second only after Leibniz.
