Grotesquely overpriced product made in thirdworld sweatshops makes them pretty much the same as every other athletic shoe maker.

The prices are worth it for the customizable shoes, and they always have products on sale... worth watching for the right time. The site is a really cool experience though it was a little slow at points.

Personally, I don't buy their stuff. It's of poor quality and is usually expensive. Not to mention the fact they have the dumbest comercials. But in the public eye, I can't help to think of Nike as synominous with sweatshop.
