I think that the Ipod and accessories saved its bacon. It is a great company and I have had Macs for over twenty years. A Mac is a much superior computer.

Second to none in innovation.  If they hadn't tried to insource everything under the sun, they would be bigger than Microsoft; proof that even in IT, there's such a thing as being too much of a control-freak.  Also, how about joining the 20th Century and getting a second button on the mouse already?

What can I say about a company that just learned it needs to allow outside parts and software to survive.

Apple is amazing. Their computers are amazing, IPods too, extremely innovative under the leadership of the great Steve Jobs. The MacOS system is so solid and user friendly. Everything they make is stylish and trendy. Nothing can beat them. Very fast and powerful too.

Don't really see what all of the fuss is about here. Their computers are all oddly designed and there are few programs written for them. And how did the iPod become so popular?

As bad as people talk about Microsoft, what do you think it would be like if Apple dominated? Then it would just be the other way around.

My first computer was a Mac and I still have one (in the other room, LOL). They do make great stuff though.
