03/10/2005 | Admittedly, I do not find myself looking to Jesus for my happiness so to speak. But I do depend on my faith for strength at times when I think things are coming loose. I feel guilt that I dont thank him for the little things, maybe I should. But I know that in living a clean life as much as I can, keeping his ways in mind in the way I look at people, humanity in general and not ever doing harm to people just because I do not like them or agree with their choices, I feel rewarded. Maybe I need him for peace of mind which is not always about just happiness. I have even cursed him when tradgedy comes my way. Because Ive believe he is there, involved in my world. One thing I try not to do is to make fun or belittle someones faith just to entertain myself. For those of you who do, I hope that makes you proud of yourself. Personally I think it makes you a fool.

12/31/2004 | Happiness is only one part of knowing Christ, and it's not even the most important part. He also gives meaning and purpose to your life, as well as His presence during tough times, and direction when you're making hard decisions. You can find fault with us Christians all you want - we've got lots of them. But you can't find fault with Jesus.

12/11/2004 | Some people can't see how being saved would bring happiness, and I'm not gonna be one to rub it in and say I told you so when the time comes. Say what you will, but I'm a lot happier knowing where I'm heading then not. :)

12/10/2004 | Jesus is my personal Lord and Savior and my ultimate fulfillment, there is no emptiness in my life, the hole that used to be in my heart when I was young and troubled is filled because of Christ's love. After I submitted my mind, body, and soul fully to Christ he has done amazing things not only in my life but in my heart as well. Its truly amazing to see him work in my life as doors continue to open and I see myself changing into the person God created me to be. Its more than happiness, its eternal fulfillment......Christ's love is only unseen to the close hearted...I only speak from my personal experiences.

Does this mean that if you don't believe in Jesus you can't be happy, or that the world was always sad and nobody had any fun until the First Noel. In the words of an English spinster, Poppycock.

10/15/2004 | Jesus is essential to happiness, that doesn't mean He'll make you happy and give you a perfect life. That means He'll fulfill you so you don't seek out happiness, and you don't want a perfect life because then you couldn't appreciate what He does for you.
