 | Mad Hatter (37) 03/09/2005 | My family is the most important part of my life. Not just my parents, but my grandparents, uncles, aunts, and cousins. I would add my brothers and sisters, but I am an only child.

 | Djahuti (54) 03/09/2005 | As long as we remember that family is not necessarily limited to biological relations.Remember, some folks come from really rotten, horrendously dysfunctional families, yet go on to find loving and supportive, adopted families who change their life in a very positive manner.I am blessed with both a wonderful, yet small, biological family AND a bigger, equally wonderful Family of Friends, both of whom I thank my lucky stars for on a daily basis.

 | Sundiszno (30) 12/08/2004 | Family definitely rates high on the list of things that bring or contribute to happiness. Plenty of things can go wrong in the family environment, but likewise, there are plenty of things that a family can provide to bring a sense of contentment, satisfaction, fulfillment, and general well-being. The better your family life, the happier you'll be (at least generally speaking).

 | Bird808 (52) 12/08/2004 | There are some people in this world who are unfortunately not blessed with a good family and I feel for these people as like it or not these are the people you need the most. Yeah they can be a pain in the butt sometimes, but who really knows you and loves you no matter what?

 | Enkidu (37) 10/15/2004 | They can bring you the best of times and the worst of times, but it can get awfully lonely with none.

 | ClassicTVFan47 (36) 04/25/2004 | Of course! The best family members will not hold grudges against you and will always be there in times of need! The more the merrier! Parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters--and many more!!!

 | kamylienne (77) 04/19/2004 | My sister just had a beautiful little baby girl a few weeks ago, the first in her generation on my mother's side of the family. I've never seen my mother so happy, her entire face lights up whenever someone calls her grandma. My grandmother and great-grandmother, out of state, lived to see another generation start in their lifetime, so you can imagine their excitement. I was never really close to my family before, but finally everything, with few exceptions, has come together so wonderfully that now I can finally understand how happiness and family go together.

 | scarletfeather (46) 04/19/2004 | If you are blessed with a good family, they can definitely provide happiness. Fortunately, I have a decent family. They have provided me with support and love.
