04/02/2008 | he'll fight anybody.from middleweight to heavyweight to win then lose the heavyweight title when he beat ruiz by decision but took steroids and lost the belt.then gets matched against samuel peter and loses two close fights.this guy has the style to beat them all.i want to see him get another heavyweight title shot.maybe he'll win then fight roy jones jr for the championship

01/12/2007 | A highly skilled fighter that knows every trick in the book. His only problem, and it's a big one. He didn't like to train, and he let the weight control his career, and it cost him.
He fought Sam Peters last week and lost, it was his second loss to Peters. I give him credit for fighting a heavyweight like Peters, but he does not belong in the heavies. My opinion is, he squandered his career, after his loss in the mid-ninties, to Roy Jones Jr. He could have been one of the all time greats, but I honestly don't see him as Hall of Fame material.

06/06/2005 | regardless of his steroids, toney probly still would have beaten ruiz. the only heavyweight who can truely beat toney is vitali klitschko. vitali's size, power, and reach will be too much for toney. toney can beat vitali, but it would be the hardest fight of either fighter's life. after this drug scandal, toney might finally be a shot fighter. his chances are slim, but not certain.

08/04/2004 | The only challenge he ever had was managing his weight. As far as boxing, he's great. I hope he gets a chance to fight Vitali(easy victory for Lights Out) just as long as he knocks him out because I know the judges would screw him.

After beating Vassily Jirov for the cruiserweight title and beating up Evander Holyfield, Toney appears to be as sharp as ever.
