Google is the best search engine out there. Plus they have igoogle now, so you can add whatever theme and tags you want on it (such as clocks, countdowns, youtube! and the list goes on...)

Over regarded and over glorified, with the requisite commercialism, there are other Search engines just as good. As a company, maybe beholden by the yuppie in crowd.

I think Googles products are fantastic.  Best search engine, best email service, maps and directions, etc.  However, I'd advise against using Google Checkout.  I signed up for that and there was miscommunication between the store I bought the product from and Checkout, delaying my order by over a week.  When I read reviews of Checkout, I found that many people experienced the same thing.

Google Rocks. These 2 guys saw the market for search engines, and struck it rich. The money was thru advertising, so everybody won. These guys are billionaires! I use it every day and it is wonderful. THey were smart dudes-congrats.

In my personal opinion the greatest online search engine. Simple, fast and easy, Google gets you to the website that you need as quick as a flash. And you can also search for 'Images', 'Groups', 'News' and more. Worth the hype. Highly Reccommended.

i use google all the time and they are usually my first choice every time.

Google is good but they power yahoo's search engine so you'll get the same results. And yahoo has other stuff on it like news and entertainment, weather, etc.

It seems like everything they do, they do well. I always use their search engine because there's no BS about, it's just a search engine (unlike Yahoo who tries to do everything). Looks like they have another winner coming up with Gmail.

I love just about everything about this company. I love that they have a Don't be Evil clause in their corporate goals. I love that they encourage, even force, their engineers to spend 20% of their time on projects completely unrelated to their job (this was where Orkut and Gmail came from). I love that they send an employee into the Webmaster forums to provide informal Google tips. And I love that their pending IPO is being tagged as the savior of the high tech industry. Yes they have gotten very big and very powerful in a hurry - but so far they haven't abused it. If I didn't already have a job that I loved, i would do anything I could to work for these guys.
