If I could speak German, I wouldn't mind it. There's good food, and good beer. Even if you can't speak German, there are plenty of people who are more than happy to show off their English skills, so an English speaker can cope fairly well.

I would move to Germany. It is my favorite country on the continent. I like a country where, when the sign says don't walk on the grass, people obey! I would suggest, however, to stay out of the former Eastern Zone if you want to live there--too many former Commie mopes around.

Love German people from the bottom of my heart. Love the language, love the food, love the atmosphere. Love how they all have dogs and you can take your dog everywhere with you. I love how sincere the Germans are (I hate fake people). Seems like superficial people are just non-existant in Deutschland. Love the feeling of safeness on the streets at night (crime rate is about 3 times or more, less than that of the United States.). Don't quote me on that though, because I don't have time to go look up my facts, I just know that there is significantly less crime. I love more than anything, the fact that there are some other races in that country (not as much as in America) and racism is virtually non-existant. I don't have to look at a black person and instantly think he's a gangster or ghetto hoodlum with bad motives. They don't act like that over there. They act like normal everyday Germans actually. I love their politeness, their respectfullness, and their manners. Only thing I don't like is all the damn cigerrette smoke everywhere. Though I hear that's changing, hopefully by the time I go over there to live again, it will have changed significantly.

Germany is absolutely gorgeous and brimming with history. My friend in Cologne tells me the government is a pain there, though, and very strict about a lot of things. And I guess the northern parts of Germany look down on the Bavarians, who they consider "beneath" them. So between the government and the internal rivalries, I wouldn't have much time to enjoy the mountain views or the ancient castles.

I've visited Germany and found it to be great. I liked the people, they were very helpful and friendly. The only reason I didn't give this a 5 is that I don't speak German. You can usually find someone who speaks at least a little English around but not always.

My friend lives in Germany. But I think it would be cool to live there. I like the language too and all the history that's ever happened here... very interesting.

I'd do pretty well here, and I've thought about it. The weather is horrible, though, and the cigarettes would drive me crazy.

I would love to move to the country of my grandparents. I am not sure I'd be able to get a job. The German friends I have are brilliant, with IQs seemingly equivilant to Einstein. I would have to compete with them for jobs?
