02/19/2004 | Good old Islington. I have worked in this area previously and have worked nearby in Clerkenwell too. Yet again, an up and coming area which has loads to offer. Sadlers Wells is on Rosebury Avenue and if you just walk down the road towards Farringdon, you will come across Exmouth Market which has some lovely little shops which sell kitch goods and there is a photograph gallery, bookshops and some wonderful restaurants. Nearby to that you have a lovely little park where you can relax. At the other end of Rosebury Avenue you have the main High Street which is buzzing with people visiting the markets, shops and the Angel Centre which has a cinema, a music venue, more shops, restaurants and a couple of pubs. If I could live here I would as its a nice area and its so central (zone 1) getting around London would be easier and cheaper.
