03/10/2005 | Its funny how people who are beautiful can potentially be so miserable. It seems that having beauty (I think were talking about self beauty here) should help a person be happy. Some revell in it too much, but you dont need it to be a happy person. People who are not so beautiful but are very happy anyway somehow become much more attractive to a person who is not shallow minded.

10/17/2004 | Beauty is essential for happiness, but I'm not talking about beauty that's transitory in nature. Beauty is something that can be found in the most unusual settings. Many times beauty can be found in a selfless act, a good memory, or in a place that no one else may find beautiful.

04/27/2004 | Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, it seems to have lost much of its meaning now, due to overuse but that doesn't make it any less true. Even the most mundane landscapes are an infinitely complex visage of light and color and the most uninteresting of sounds equally diverse in inflection. It's always such a pity when I become too preoccupied with my various tasks to realize the inherent beauty in almost everything.

04/20/2004 | I love the beauty of the natural world. The other day I was hiking with friends and I happened upon the most unique butterfly;it was black with aqua markings. I guess I sound pretty flaky now. But life without beauty would be intolerable for me. I find beauty everywhere, in nature, in people, in animals, in colors, and in music.
