Randi Rhodes is Trash and that is putting it nicely.

Her brand of BS spewed to few but obviously listened to by many RIA posters makes me want to puke!

She relies on opinions and distorts the truth.

What do her ratings look like?

Randi Rhodes is the most honest voice on the radio, anytime, anywhere. The fact that she riles up so many right wing blowhards is both refreshing and necessary, in George Bush's America. If she was so wrong about her many causes, in particular the shredding of the Constitution by today's Republican party, why would the fans of Junkie Rush and his buddies bother to post their pathetic hate mail?

Apparently she really annoys those folks who rely on hate talk radio to make them feel good about their prejudices.

Worst piesce of animal dung ever released on the radio. She must wear a tinfoil hat at work to get the evil "Bush" rays from taking her over... I truly diskike this american hating women. Her line about her miltary service she throws out whenever a real soldier disagrees with her is disgusting. Ooooohh, she served in the air force during a time of peace. How tough! And she talks about her dead father, how he was a soldier and before he died, how much he hated Bush sr. What a load of crap. Single, bitter, nasty, ugly, no wonder shes such a bitch. I really do not like her.

What you people are talking about? Randi Rhodes is the BEST progressive radio talk show right now. She researches what she talk about and her opinions are based on facts. Is the only serious, interesting, and sometimes funny progressive talk show on Air America.

She is all rhetoric, anti-American, full of hate, and an embarrassment to my religion (I am Jewish too!)

Simply doesn't back most of her ranting with facts! Never poses a solution to the problems other than to change powers to be. We've seen a change in congress but still more of the same. I originally supported the change but sadly moving to the right because at least there is a discourse to ideas of change.

She is a ranting raving lunatic. Her thought processes disturb me. Thank goodness she's just a radio host and not in some high ranking govt job. She annoys me. I listen to Air America but shut it off when her grating voice hits the air.

If there is a more miserable talk show host on the air, I sure have not come across him or her. Randi is the most negative voice in America. She complains and rants about everything and her little sexual inuendos are nothing short of high school bad jokes. Her "facts" are often skewed and by her own admission, she uses the Internet for a lot of her research. I wonder if she believes the story about the Barrister from Nigeria who has a lot of money that somehow belongs to her.... Her constant underscoring of "I told you so.." is just insane as I remember what she "told me" and apparently her memory is different that mine. I recall her going nuts about gun control and how if the ban was lifted on "assault type" weapons, every whack job in America would be at gun shows buying machine guns.. She has no solutions - save what her liberal cronies drool on about. I think she is a classic example of the PC mentality - i.e., "Political Correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical liberal minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end"... She apparently not realized that Nancy Pelopsi and the Democrats have made very little headway on "draining the Republican swamp".. I thought that was going to happen in the first 100 hours of their "new regime". Let's hear Randi take them on, eh? And to hear her bash "corporate America" and the wealthy Republicans.. What'd you make last year at Air America Randi?? Well in excess of $250K I'd venture..

Randy Rhodes thinks it is funny to insult Mormons as she did when talking about how Orin Hatch approved the Child Health care plan passed by the House. She stated that he must have approved it becasue Mormons have a lot of Wives and Kids, this is a lie Mormons do not practice polygamy and i am offended by her comment

Randi is a super inteligent host with an informative show. However I do have two complaints. 1) Randi, you don't need to breakyour arm patting yourself on the back, she's always the first to tell people about things or she is being copied by other hosts or politicians. Sometimes she sounds like the little Richard of talk radio. 2) She is some what close minded. She believes she has the right of just about every issue and leaves very little room for debate.

I am a lifelong Democrat(who sometimes agrees with Republican stances on certain subjects) I listen to Air America out of Denver Colo. That is I listen until Rhodes comes on. She is just a liberal Rush Limbaugh. she is radical, gross, and closed minded...a liberal Bill O'Reilly. All the other Democratic hosts on this show are great.

Used to listen on WIOD before WJNO and before Air America. Unfortunately she is now just about unlistenable to for more than a couple of minutes. She has become every bit a blowhard as all the Seans, Rushes and Savages of the right wing machine.

Randi Rhodes Show is the ONLY factual show on radio or television. I didn't believe her at first. Then I did what she suggested and didn't beleve her, but researched for myself. She was right, and worse, everything is available to read for ourselvs, but most people don't know it. Randi Rhodes has opened many people's eyes to what thier government is doing...in their name!

When will We realize that it is not polite to lie nor rude to speak the truth? Speak up, speak out, speak often. Liking each other is not a requirement of Our Constitution.

Air america, in general, seems to be more about driving people away from voting democrat than it does about promoting more liberal views. It is so extreme as to not represent the average democrat.
I listen to some air america, but not the girls coffee clatch shows. When I want to listen to political opinions, I want to hear it from authority. I want to hear it from men, not women or kids.

The best researched show on radio. I wish TV could be as fact based. For all the lock-step, goose-stepping Republican sheep out there who say things like "she makes things up", I have yet to see a single one of you give even one example where Randi has said anything false or undocumentable. Perhaps it is you who should stop whining and do some research on how this administration is bypassing the constitution and changing the government right under your nose!

If you are a far left, conspiracy theory liberal than this is the talk show for you. If you hate George W. Bush no matter what and are just looking for the "reasons" to hate him, this is the show for you. She does what most other liberals do, make up bogus theories and motivations.

Best God Damn show on the Radio, Period! NeoCons love to hate her and twist her words to fit their own agendas. Without doing their homework the Radical Right thinks they prove her wrong by Righ Wing talking points. Her facts come from government archives, documents, etc. She researches her material and actually has a reading list to educate her listeners. If you're looking to keep your head in the sand? Don't listen to her. She is caustic, abrasive, and not afraid of the Radical Right. Like She says, "The hang themselves just fine." She's Great!!!

an ignorant woman who can't make a coherent point on anything. her ramblings are nearly unintelligible at times. her hatred for bush is so strong that she manufactures transparently false arguments and discredits her entire premise. which is too bad as well thought out and articulate arguments can in fact be made in favor of much of what she advocates. she is so bad that i sometimes wonder if she is actually a republican mole, or perhaps a satire.

Randi is the best. Luckily, we still have someone that is willing to give us some real facts about what is going on in this country!

While I agree with a fair amount of what Randi says, she has tended to slip into ridiculous phraseology and hyper-emotional ranting. Personally, I look for a mostly rational, engaging analysis of current events, and I have trouble finding it with most of the national programs these days. And it doesn't help that AAR is constantly repeating the same old (and often lame) public service announcements, either.

Sadly, I'm not sure if Randi new the truth if it came up and bit her in the butt, especially in regards to the recent hurricane and related fiascos that occured both at the federal and state levels. After giving her show the benefit of the doubt, and having and open mind enough to give her show a try for the past 6 weeks, I couldn't see where even the most liberal of folks in the country could view her show in a positvie light. She's abrasive, abusive, highly innacurate in regards to facts. As to fair and balanced style of political debate, this show is far far from it. Sadly, the Randi Rhodes show caters to the far far left wing radicals, conspiracy nuts, and those pre disposed to the the "Hate Bush at all costs", "George Bush is Evil" crowd. If this viewpoint is what you share, then this show is for you.

An uneducated Bully. If I wanted to hear someone cut people off and abuse the power of controlling the Microphone I would listen to Bill ORiley. I have on numerous occassion listen to her pull facts Out of her Butt as Al Franken would say. Frequently she is completely unaware of current events or historical facts. I listen to Air America untill Noon at which time I turn it off until 4:00 for the next show. As far as liberal goes ... Well she is a religous bigot and that doesn't wash in the big tent. She needs to be dropped by Air America she makes us all look like just like what we rail against.

If there were a place for 6 stars Randi would get my vote for it. She is the most informative talk show host on either side and more people need to take what she says more seriously!

I love Randi's politics, she is an amazingly fresh voice in the sea of timidity and obliviousness that consitutes the American media these day. I even forgive her endless ranting. What bothers me about Randi is that vast chunks of her dialog seem to be more about Randi than about the politics we all care so much about. She goes on and on about her looks, where she's been, famous people she's seen, and how wonderful her fans think she is. We even have to put up with blathering fans going on endlessly about her fabulousness. Stick to politics Randi-and carry on the great work.

What's with all these phony people in here? All these goofs that logged into this site just to pump up the ratings of this Randy Rhodes bag. Just click on their names and see for yourself: number of comments-1 They probably got togeather at some lame message board like Atrios and hatched this scheme. I sat through Randy's show for the first time today and I feel that I was being punished for actually knowing anything. This broad is a heroine to grey haired old bags that wear tennis shoes.

UPDATED: Basically, I like most of her politics and she raises some good points. However, I agree that she shouts over people who call in and that is just rude, no matter where you stand. And she rants and rants for several minutes at a time and it is just not entertaining to listen to. Also, she is sometimes sloppy with her details. I remember her talking about how Northern Ireland was an example of people killing each other over religious differences (in this case the differences between Protestantism and Catholicism). If your understanding of the NI conflict is that limited, you had better just not mention it at all and move on. Sloppiness like that just really detracts from some of the more valid issues that she discusses.

Randi does an excellent job of keeping liberals informed of right wing deceat.Plus if any one saw the HBO special on Air America- I give Randi's rack 5 stars too.

She's smart, righteously indignant, well-informed, and funny. Not to everyone's taste, I suppose, and I even know liberals who have problems with her style. Still, considering the entrenched, arid vapidity and uniformity of most of what passes for talk radio these days, Randi's show is a breath of fresh air.

She is well informed compared to Limbaugh, but she is just complete trash. I wish she and Rush Limbaugh would take their lightweight bafoonery off the air.

Randi knows what she is talking about and does it with passion. So glad to finally be able to hear Air America in Los Angeles, which has become the wasteland of AM radio.
