Why 'hated' as a topic?  An easy historical figure to examine due to the amount of material to study.  A figure who should be studied.  Although we do hate what he did for many reasons. . .including making the toothbrush mustache unfashionable. . .

People love to hate him so does that make him a hated topic?  I always get a kick out of  seeing his name included on lists like "Dead Celerities", "People in need of Anger Management" or "Men Famous for Wearing Boots". When you read the reviews that are attached to his name you can count on two things, a general consensus as to his evil nature and a lively debate about his role in the creation of the Volkswagen.

  A deserved 5, a truly evil man to all but a couple of inbred jackasses that occasionally besmirch this site with their mere presence...

Anyone who has seen and doesn't appreciate the late Dick Shawn's performance as Hitler in The Producers should be on this list with a 4....

Hitler has been dead for 60+ years now and hating his guts is still a major pastime for the world at large. If you want to sound like a psycho just say you like and respect his work. Nope, for the larger part of the population, this angry little Moe Howard look-a-like is synonymous with the words evil madman. Another love to hate him heavy weight appearing in list after list on RIA.

I wouldn't say that Hitler was well liked. He still has an impact on people who seem to think that the world will accept another nazi uprise.

No one's about to make excuses for this creep.His rise,however,is quite instructive.People keep following fanatics to this day.

You could probably see why I put him down as a 'hated topic'. No one who's mentally stable actually likes him. For starters, look at his human rights record.

I don't think anyone is going to say that Adolf Hitler was a great guy. I tend to think that anyone possessing such sick ideas must be crazy. I have read that among his contemporaries Hitler was actually a charming man. Makes me think of the writer who commented on the banality of evil.
