Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey 4

I didn't know this was a remake till my mom busted out with the original. I really like the lack of narration in the remake.

Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey 5

Loved both of these too. When the animals don't talk you need a little more imagination and of course the original was narrated but the new one was more fun and the first one was more imaginative. Chance was an american bulldog not a boxer though white boxers do look like the american bulldogs some.

Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey 4

I liked this, especially Michael J Fox doing the voice for the boxer, Chance. Really funny. My granddaughter loves this movie.

Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey 3

I think these both have some merit. The world can always use a good lighthearted, warm and fuzzy kid's movie. What better theme than the struggles of three animals.

Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey 3

Maybe I just happen to favor the movies that came out when I was a kid, but to me the remake just wasn't as good as the original. The first journey just had a better story line and seemed much more realisitic. Not to say that I didn't enjoy the remake, I just thought the first was better. Then again maybe I'm just nostalgic for things from the past.

Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey 3

I have seen both and like both. the early one is good with a narrator explaining their journey. the newer one has voiceovers talking for the animals it probably helps hold the attetion of the kids a bit better and gives an idea of the animals personalities. I always get a bit choked up in the end when they return home. I like that it is based on a true story.

Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey 5

This was a Disney remake that I really enjoyed. The voice actors chosen to portray the pets were great. Michael J. Fox as Chance is my favorite in particular. Sweet and funny, this certainly isn't a drastic change from the original. It's just a modern update that's a good family film.
