Depends of which one. The 1990 remake was just as good if not better. It was directed by Tom Savini, who was originally going to help direct the original 1968 version, but went to Vietnam instead. In this version, the feeling of the orginal remains with a few twists and turns that don't ruin it. The biggest improvement was Barbara's character. The new 30th anniversary version is just horrid; completely taking out main parts of the original.
