I actually like this version a lot better than the original.  There are a lot of good songs in this version.  I think that Rick Moranis was perfect as Seymour and Steve Martin was funny as the crazy dentist.  This is a very good remake.

I like this film, Steve Martin as the sadistic dentist was especially funny.

This was like trying to redo 'Plan Nine From Outer Space'. Some classics should be left alone...

A 4.5. the remake came back as a musical. i loved that they kept it in the 60s with that type of music. there was some great songs here. a very funny movie. Rick Moranis was great as the nerdy flower shop clerk who found the man eating plant.Ellen greene was good as Audrey.as Steve Martin was at his best as he cruel masochistic dentist. Bill Murray also had a funny cameo as the dental patient who loves pain.Well done movie.
