09/12/2004 | Grant Park is okay. While much of the southeast intown neighborhoods have been gentrified, Grant Park has been struggling for over a decade with crime. It has beautiful homes, but it's far too close to Summerhill, Mechanicsville, Old Fourth Ward, Downtown, Peoplestown, etc... to be safe. All the crack addicts walk through Grant Park at night and rip off the rich people. Thanks to the Grant Park residents, the people in Ormewood are protected though.
