12/13/2006 | There is no more exhilirating pastime than surfing. However, surfing (at least enjoyable surfing) carries a lot of prerequisites: hours of practice, living near a suitable coast, relative youth, and (most importantly) an attitude of utter recklessness towards the invitable injuries.

05/04/2005 | I like surfing. I suck at it, but am good enough to catch a wave on a long board, stand up, and ride the thing straight in. There's not too many feelings that rival standing up on a wave as it rolls in towards the beach.
