One of the westerns I grew up watching, willingly.

Everything a remake should be, in that it takes a great film, and changes its perspective to provide a different angle on the story.

Well acted, scripted and directed, it is a high water mark of the western.

And yes, The Seven Samurai is the better film, but this is very, very good.

As good as the Mag 7 was, Seven Semarai was something on a completely different scale of depth and presentation.

Classic theme music, and a cast the likes of which are very rare today. Oddly enough, I believe Robert Vaughn is the only one of the seven still alive. A great western that would be entertaining for people that don't normally like westerns.
