06/16/2002 | Gina was my favorite female contestant - she was sweet, a hard worker and competitive but not too in your face or obnoxious like some of her silly Maraamu tribemates. Gina had the misfortune to be stuck in such a loser tribe at first, but at least she got to win 3 challenges before she was voted off. I think had she been switched to Rotu instead, she could've gone a lot further in the game. She is a sweet, genuine gal in real life and I wish her the best of luck in the future. I hope they consider her for the "All Star" show!

05/19/2002 | gina--you are great contestant and seem like a good person. what you say about rob might have better strategy in the survivor game than you do. i am sure that's true. it seem to me that the reason that you got voted off that time is because your team lose the immunity challenge. it was also seem like that sweet pea, the judge, or kathy really not want you off, yet. at least not yet. you four just have no choice. it just part of the game that the losing team have to vote someone off. i am not surprise that it was not an easy decision for any of your team to make that decision. you are one of my favorite contestant. good luck on everything you do.....

04/11/2002 | She seems to be such a nice girl. I really like her choice in professions. I wish she had made it farther then she did, but I suppose it was good that she be eliminated earlier so that she didn't have to deal with the backstabbing of the merge. 6th place is respectible!

04/02/2002 | gina is definetly one of my favorite surviors. i am very glad she survived when the tribes switched. she is both a hard worker and very attractive. hopefully maraamu will not have to choose between gina and the mother figure (i can't remember her name)

03/26/2002 | Gina and Hunter were the only decent pair in Maraamu. If the tribe was made of two more Hunters and two more Ginas, they definitely defeated Rotu ages ago. However, call it bad luck or something. But I'm glad Gina was saved by the switcheroo. She'll definitely survive to the merge.

03/19/2002 | I like Gina a lot. She's smart, friendly, personable, tough, and hard-working. She's also the last "adult" left in Maraamu which, I'm assuming, means she's the next to go. Too bad. She would have done well had she not been a victim of the weird Rob-Sean-Sarah alliance.

In April, Crews resigned her teaching job at Union County High in Lake Butler, where she had worked for three years, after enduring what she said were months of harassment from a female student. In her resignation letter, Crews said she feared for her safety.
She said the student telephoned her at home at all hours and at her second job. The student, Crews said, left sexually harassing messages on her car and behaved in an intimidating manner in her classroom and the school hallways. One time Crews' car was vandalized in the school parking lot, and a Union County sheriff's report identified the student as one of the suspects.
The student was suspended for three days in connection with the harassment charges.
"I cannot continue to have the stress in my life that I feel each day when I arrive at work," Crews said in her resignation letter. "I truly wish I could remain as a teacher for my students' sake, but I cannot."/
Now, Gina lost her potential boyfriend, Hunter. I am going to root for the underdog.

03/14/2002 | I really hope they do the switcheroo thing where 3 players switch with 3 other players from the other tribe. That is the only way Gina will be able to continue to survive this game if she goes to a different tribe or else new players come to her tribe to make it better. Maybe then there will actually be a game. I have the feeling though Gina could be the next one voted off if Maaruu goes to tribal council again. Good luck Gina!

03/08/2002 | I think that Gina is a great Survivor, and she'll go far in this game. She is honest without trying to hurt anyone, and she's strong. Last night, I could sort of see her patience wearing with Sara, but she really held it together. She did not try to get into any drama with her.
