Whether it's because they only serve Coors Light or because a Margarita costs $18, this category can leave bar patrons feeling a little ripped off. (Add picture)

The drink selection doesn't ever really bother me, I'm perfectly happy with most domestic beers.

But drink price is another story. (Not usually a problem in the midwest, but I ran into it a few times on the east coast).I hate walking into what looks like a normal bar and finding out that a bottle of beer made by Anheuser-Busch or Miller costs more than $5. I can go to a grocery store and get a six pack for that price.

Doesn't matter where you are, paying at least $4 for 1 shot of liquor is outrageous, it's like an 85% markup.

You're out spending your cash to have a good time- have a good time! If you're a tightwad stay home and count nickles! Girls should bring money to drink just like the guys instead of looking to mooch off dumb guys all night then when they don't start complaining that you don't like these meat markets. If I were a guy I wouldn't be so eager to be buying girls drinks all the time because buddy they aren't going home with you most of the time.

well it depends on what you order... let's say you order a gin and tonic.. if you say that, then they will give you the house gin and it will be a reasonable price, but if you say you want seagrams gin or something, that is when they will overcharge.. that is why (unless it is a special occasion) i will stay home and drink.. i am neutral on this issue.

This isn't that annoying. The only time I might have a problem is if the bar only serves beer but doesn't have a good selection. This rarely happens though. It might annoy me if I'm paying top dollar to wait a long time for a bartender to notice me and then give me a weak drink on top of that... but again doesn't happen often to me.

Depends where you live, I guess. Boston isn't too bad but weekends in New York clean me out. There's something about dropping $6 for a bottle of Miller Light that makes you feel dirty - like you've been used.
