 | SuKingsANDKnights300 (14) 05/16/2008 | I do know that, he is the saviour of mankind, if God did imply about him in the old testaments, yet again, he is openly being read in the new testament. By this juncture, there are now many false messiahs, false prophets, who play a game on the weak, minded people, and turn them into a hole of eternal damnations. There are those who also insist silently in their hearts to deceive the world nations, and be to called Jesus. We know them ,and even though they think they are the intelligents of the intelligents, yet their disguise would soon be illuminated. If someone rush to your door, and say to you that he had seen Jesus, and talked to him, or that, we have now Jesus preaching in the stadium, and a lot are healed, or that, he is here performing miracles, and he made barren women wombs open for birth, please inform the virtual security society, and they will immediately come running to arrest such intimidative wolves in sheep clothes. Jesus himself did warned us to be very careful, and watch closely the anti-christs, and false messiahs. Therefore would our intellectual capacity be overcomed, or would our intellectual universe be led astrayed?. I have been arguing a lot with some of my brothers who are lying, and wasting their times to influence me, but unfortunately, they found me to more weaponized than ever, and me though is not that easy to be outflanked that way, or be defeated by such invisible wolves-in-sheep clothes, than for me to after them, and them in front of me, that means they have fled away licking their wounds sustained through bible verses to fight them off. Ultimately as according to the bible, and bible associate prophets, including Ellen G White texts, he is the son of God, and there is no other son of God, whether in the univers, on this planet, or wherever.

 | knowhim (3) 12/27/2005 | Yes the ONLY Savior of mankind!
The Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air (vv.16-17).
Are you ready?

 | traderboy (25) 09/13/2005 | If one were to be the savior of mankind, I'd assume one would also have to be imbued with some discernible type of divinity. To this length, Jesus wasn't the messiah of Hebrew prophecy, and fell painfully short of the Christ title bestowed upon him. Micah 5, the 22nd Psalm, and Isaiahs 7 and 52-53 aren't applicable to him. The genealogies in Matthew 1 and Luke 3 not only don't jive, they also don't show a biological link between Jesus and David (which is a requirement for fulfillment). Jesus is a descendant of three separate individuals whose offspring were cursed by God NEVER to inherit the throne of David (Jeconiah, in Jeremiah 22:28-30; Jehoiakim, in Jeremiah 36:30; and Nathan, in 1st Chronicles 29:1). Truthfully, the only deliverance humankind has ever needed has been from its own ignorance and meddlesome superstitions.

 | Gentle Jude (23) 05/29/2005 | Jesus is the ultimate hero. Unlike other false gods eg those Greek Gods, what was so remarkable about Him was the fact that He not only did great miracles in a flesh and blood body, but unlike any other god in history, Jesus was the only one to lay down His life for ALL mankind (not just for a particular nation) and be raised again, and for the fact that unlike these other gods, Christianity has been very long surviving and enduring. False gods will die down and just be on the dusty pages of history, but the truth never dies, that's why Christianity is so strong today, and always will be, even in extreme adversity. Another thing about Christianity that sets itself apart from other faiths is the fact that you are not persecuted for being a Buddhist or for believing in Greek mythology, but Christianity is the most persecuted faith in history. But what is so different about Christianity is the fact it never dies, even when fiercely persecuted. In fact, Christianity is like an Oleander bush. Oleander bushes thrive in hot temperatures, that's what Christianity is like. Christianity has been at it's strongest and bravest when confronted with fierce persecution. Another thing about Jesus being the saviour of mankind. A lot of people think that this must mean that once they become a Christian, Jesus will also save you from physical hardships. This isn't necessarily true. The primary role for Jesus' death was to heal and save us spiritually, not to give us a good life. I can see why people become so disheartened at these TV Evangelists. Because they promise you a good life and they say that Jesus wants you to be healthy and happy. Then people get disappointed because it is not happening to them, and quite rightly so. Some evangelists build you a false sense of hope. But what the Evangelists fail to read is the verse in Romans where it says 'The Kingdom of God is not one of bread and water (food) but of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.' Ie it is a spiritual Kingdom and Jesus has come to heal us emotionally and save our spirits and get us in fellowship with the Father, not give us a good and rich life style. Although I don't dismiss the ideas altogether of physical healing.

 | Mechanical (0) 07/05/2004 | Seeing that the Jesus myth is nearly identical to the older Greek myths of Dionysus {Son of a god and a mortal woman, turned water into wine and was resurrected} and Aesclupius {Son of god and mortal woman, came to earth and healed many people before being killed and resurrected}, I don't see how Jesus has any better of a chance of being Saviour of mankind than these two.

 | StanUzbeck (14) 05/06/2004 | I don't see how he could be mankind's savior. A lot of people were put to the sword or lit on fire in his holy name. Now we have a president who believes that Jesus was the greatest political philosopher who ever lived. Is Jesus working through Bush to save mankind? Bush certainly thinks he is, but I don't see a lot of saving going on. Jesus is not MY savior, and it's fine for you to think that he died for MY sins as well as yours, but I feel no gratitude because I can't just pass over the responsibility for my own misdeeds to some skinny Jew who died 2000 years ago on the other side of the world.
