I have been using Klaron lotion in conjunction with Retin-A Micro and it has been great! Besides the expected side effects of the Retin-A Micro (peeling and such) it has been a great combination! I've only been using it for three weeks and have already had excellent results! Not completely cleared up yet, but I believe in the next couple of weeks that will be a different story!

I've been using this as a cleanser in conjunction with my other prescribed acne medications (Benzaclin and Retin-A micro) for about 9 months, and it works pretty well. It's not too harsh, and although it smells kind of bad due to the sulfur I would still recommend it.

I have had persistent mild/moderate acne for four years, I finally saw a derm and was prescribed three meds, one of them was plexion TS(sodium sulfacetamide), the other two were differin and minocycline. The S.S. smells terrible, I mean, it's sulphur! Its also gritty, which is useful in exfoliating dead skin and letting in penetrate further into the skin. It's primarily a topical anti-bacterial, meaning it kills the bacteria in the acne. I really dont like they way it feels or smells, but it's pretty damned strong, so functionality-wise, it's pretty good. I think it works better at preventing pimples than treating existing ones, although it does speed up the death of zits.

one of the best topical treatments I used. is oil based-and although that sounds bad, it didn't make my skin worse at all. it actually helped the dryness. It also has a mildly gritty texture which helps exfoliate dead skin cells. The only downside is a slightly weird smell (the sulfur), but you get used to it and the clear skin was worth the smell. I began using it in conjunction with CleocinT gel but later used just the sodium sulfacet alone.

This is a very good product for getting rid of bacterial (pus filled) acne bumps. It should be used in conjunction with retin-a. I have been using it for 2 months now and it has worked very well. I have gotten only a few bumps but thats probably b/c i've used it only once a day when it should be used twice a day for best results which wont be seen for atleast a month almost two.

could be a little grittier for a true scrub
