 | djssssss (0) 07/24/2008 | I've been a long time user of Excite and have always been happy with the site until they changed the Email service. The new service looks nice but it is difficult to use, unreliable and very slow. I sincerely hope they change the email service back to the previous system.

 | gowest (0) 07/22/2008 | WeThePeople...look at the posting dates on those who like Excite email. All those postings were done before the switch to Blue Tie! I gave up and switched to gmail

 | Chilly (0) 07/22/2008 | ZERO, I am looking at g-mail like everyone else! I was a long time excite user. Take Blue Tie Down like Indy Mac!!! Let Excite's reputation suffer.

 | frogtown (0) 07/22/2008 | It's the worst e-mail experience I've had since I used a Mac Classic II with dial-up. I've been using excite's mail so long I can't even remember what I used before. But I won't be using it much longer if I can't opt out of this clunky slow poorly laid out cr@pp. It's nauseating. M.

 | WeThePeople (0) 07/22/2008 | Rate it NEEDS TO ADD A ZERO RATING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What the bloody heck is wrong with the idiots posting it is better? What planet did they fly those idiots in from? This new interface is the worst thing I have ever experienced. I've been with Excite for ten years with NO problems until now.
Six minutes to load login on DSL, page fault errors, extra useless crap wasting screen space that cannot be removed. a one inch window to read mail unless you want a pop-up window that is three by three instead.
The people that did this are the idiots that did SmileyCentral BTW, does that help explain the mentallity here?
Oh, I get it...they are BlueTie employess trying to level the plating field by posing as mortals.

 | Betty4now (0) 07/21/2008 | not one star, but 0 absolutely 0 Do not use this e-mail service. I had been a loyal excite e-mail person until they change hands and system in June/July 2008. I have lost all of my old saved mail. They do NOT answer any queries at all. If you send a message to their "we want your feedback" it comes back undeliverable

 | tempuser234234 (0) 07/20/2008 | I concur with all others who would give Excite's new email interface the big 0 donut if I could. It used to be elegantly simple. Now it's a cluttered, bloated monstrosity. Excite: go back to the previous version, or bye-bye for me.

 | Dlyle (0) 07/17/2008 | Since there aren't any zero - I give the new Excite email interface a one.
Used to work and be good - now they've gone to totaly unuseable.

 | noelleder (0) 07/16/2008 | There are only two differences between the new excite email and the U.S. Postal Service: the post office is quicker and I get less junk mail. Way to go, Excite.

 | dah000 (0) 07/15/2008 | The new excite email absolutely stinks. I've been a long time excite user but I'm switching to something else. What were these idiots at Excite thinking? Too bad I can't give a rating of zero.

 | Dogger123456 (0) 07/15/2008 | Excite email used to be great. Now it is slow and hard to use. The text is too small. The increased storage is about the only positive upgrade. I plan to change to gmail soon after 10 years of faithfulness to excite email.

 | VirileVagabond (32) 07/12/2006 | I use Excite Email as backup mail accounts, and there doesn't appear to be anything distinctive about it. The layout is intuitive and Excite gives you 125MB of space for free. My biggest complaint (contrary to the experience of the others posting comments) is the amount of spam, even for a relatively little used account and a high setting on the spam filter.

 | pood (0) 01/31/2006 | I have been with Excite for years. But I think it is time to try somewhere else. This last month has been terrible. I use this site as my homepage and when it is not working, which has been alot lately, I cannot get on the internet until I go through my favorites. This is not good. This same thing was happening when they were bought out before.

 | dragonman (4) 12/23/2004 | I've tried Yahoo, Hotmail and Netscape and on all I've sometimes failed to receive emails or I would get my inbox loaded with spam but with excite I've never received any spam at all, plus you get 128mb which isn't bad. So far it's the best I've used, I haven't tried G Mail yet though.

 | Valvejob (0) 11/18/2004 | Easy to use and almost on par with Yahoo if it didn't have an exorbatant amount of pop ups. I block them but it is getting ridiculous.

 | hans74te (1) 06/25/2004 | It's not as good as Yahoo, but it is better than other e-mail services. You won't have spams in your mailbox.
