Seriously, this is a superb work from one of the finest artists of his era. El Greco's use of light and texture is equalled by few painters. 	oscargamblesfro (76) 01/15/2006	I'm a big fan of the great Spanish painters, and this one is quite beautiful. Although technically, he was obviously of Greek origin, not a native Spaniard. On a related note, why is there no Goya on this list? One of the greatest painters ever, and way ahead of his time-the man was simply incredible!
