owned my first pair for about 8 months until one of the rear quarter "shox" split in two. i wasn't happy about that but since they were very comfortable I decided to give them another try. When I went shopping the only pair I could find were supposedly "new and improved", and cost $150. Since I have sore knees and I felt the previous pair were somewhat helpful, I foolishly thought the $150 was somewhat justified. Man was I wrong. 5 months later my "new" pair had the same exact problem and are now in the garbage. I will NEVER buy anything from NIKE ever again. Do yourself a favor and stay away from these grossly overpriced, cheaply made sneakers.

I'm shocked that New Balance take 1st and 2nd place. I live and die by Nikes. Used to run 70 miles per week for 7 years straight and rarely got injured due to wearing nike's. No great runner would be caught dead in new balance thats just a shoe for fat slow people.

After running on these shoes for a couple weeks, I can say that they're the most comfortable things I've put on my feet. It's like walking on a mattress. OC: I recently bought a pair. While it's too soon to test the durability and life of the shoes, I will say that the comfort is fantastic. It's like you're walking on the moon. Great for my knees, which are shot.
