A fine Christmas tale about redemption. The cartoon with Boris Karloff is an excellent adaptation and faithful to the book. The movie with Carrey is vomitous. Read the book, it's excellent.

This thing is one of the best books i've ever read. It gives a good moral. Dr. Seuss. Has done it again.

A delicious character, a great story, and a wonderful message. And it rhymes too! Dr. Seuss was the master at delivering a great message without sacrificing the playfulness of his writing (and children's reading).

A classic if there ever was a classic. I just wish my boys were still babies so I could read it to them again and again. Lucky me to have nephews that are young enough to appreciate it.

A classic very much "A Christmas Carol" in a different setting but a joy none the less.

This story is a classic and I always loved it as a child (even before I saw the cartoon). I sometimes pull the book out every once and a while around Christmas time.

This version was one of my favorites. The live version is garbage.

A great and imaginitive story. A mean Grinch who has a heart that is too small hates the happiness that the Whos of whoville feel at Christmas. He decides that he along with his trusty dog Max will steal Christmas from the Whos and they will be unhappy like he is. Of course at the end he finds that Christmas was not the gifts. food etc. it was good feelings that comes with Christmas. At the end a little accident makes his own heart bigger and it results in a happy ending for all. Dr Seuss with his wonderful stories comes up with another winner with this book.

How The Grinch Stole Christmas may be one goofy book, but it is very imaginative and readable. Dr. Suess has one imaginative mind, although all of his stories are totally goofball and wacky, and will never happen in the near distant future, or even on an old rerun of Star Trek.

A very nice piece. Love the way Dr. Suess does his rhyming. A great story for little ones around Christmas time. Reccomended to all young Christian children.
