There are lots of evil people out there since this proposition has not won an election any place.

Once again, this is Bush's opinion and it does not make him evil. Homophobia is something that gets my blood boiling, though, and banning gay marriage is just taking away gay people's rights.

Here's my basic view on gay marriages. It's wrong, besides if there was gay marriage would you have to legalize gay divorce?

A lot of individuals oppose same-sex marriage on principle. I personally don't see anything wrong with him, but I seriously doubt that the majority of the population in this country that oppose same-sex marriage are evil.

Okay, well if he were a Hindu he would probably oppose hamburgers. I'm sure that wouldn't bode well with all the cattle ranchers either. I still don't think having a difference of opinion makes him evil. I'm sure his feelings about this are a reflection of his personal and religious beliefs. At this point in time he's damned if he does and damned if he doesn't oppose this because someone is going to be miffed no matter what he says.
