....marriage = "the very foundation of civilization"? where's the logic in that? so basically two man-apes got married and it was at that point of origin of human civilization? hmm I would have guessed it was congregated living for the purpose of survival. And next, would this be mongamous marriage we are talking about? because, for more than half of that 7000 years, polygamy was the norm. Further, just because something was the norm for a long time- does that mean its good? lets see....let me check here.... Ah ha! Slavery, now that was around for quite some time, even helped build a lot of civilations. If I could be god for day, I would teach all people the rudiments of argumentation and logic. That way people could make points rather than assertions.

I don't know if he hates them, but he certainly isn't on their good side after proposing a ban on gay marriages in the Constitution.

Can anyone here PROVE to me, through a quote or some other means, that President Bush hates gays or lesbians personally. I know for a fact he does not approve of homosexual morals and values but he does not hate gays or lesbians personally. Yes, President Bush wants to protect the sanctity of marriage, the very foundation of civilization and an institution that has been around for over seven thousand years of recorded history, but that does not mean he hates a certain group of people. For this rating topic to be relevant, someone must present PROOF or evidence, not opinion.

He doesn't hate them. He just doesn't want them to have any rights and to burn in hell. Is that too much to ask?

Redoedo- Thank you for answering. But to answer your question, I can't prove it and I never said he did hate gays. I did not make this list. But alot of people come to Bush's defense when others say he does hate gays...so I was just curious if anyone could prove that he doesn't...that is all. Can you prove either one Redoedo? When I asked the question, it wasn't meant to be offensive and that is why I don't usually do that, and it appears you took it the wrong way as well. This is just one good example as to why I don't debate with any of you on George Bush....

Would somebody please provide one shred of evidence for this? If you don't like the man, that's your right, but at least tell the TRUTH about him, instead of making something up.
